Everything I could find about this show had comments from the last few days from Netflix users that were equally as surprised. Is this is some kind of A/B test in ratings? It is some cancelled cord-lover mini-series that was dropped by a network studio! Why would you shove this in my face Netflix? What kind of cruelty compelled you to do this? Based on my interest in cancelled mini-series?!?!? I binge watched the whole thing only to be surprised with a cliffhanger at episode 6 and realizing THERE IS NO SEQUEL, THERE ARE NO PLANS FOR A SEQUEL. I had ignored it, I saw the synposis and it reminded me of "The 100" which I had just recently been introduced to on Netflix maybe a year ago, so I was thinking "not again"Īfter continuing to see it at the top in Netflix' most visible "Must Watch" area and the near highest amount of stars, I gave it a shot. The ending isnt tied up with a bow but they were trying to setup a series, so you have to expect that. Netflix had Ascension at the very top of my "Hey I want you to watch this" queue for some time now.
